Doechii has unexpectedly canceled her appearances at three major festivals this week, with no reason provided, leaving both fans and event organizers taken by surprise

The affected festivals are All Points East in London, Forwards in Bristol, and Rock en Seine near Paris. Adding to the confusion, her official website still lists these shows as available for purchase. All Points East expressed their disappointment in an Instagram post, saying, "We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows. She is an incredible artist, and, like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage." Doechii has not made any public statement about the cancellations, and her team has not responded to media requests. It’s always a letdown when artists cancel performances, especially for fans who have made significant plans and financial commitments. The absence of clear communication often leads to uncertainty and concern among supporters. Fans who had arranged travel for her "Live From the Swamp" tour voiced their frustration in comments on an August 4 Instagram post. The North American leg of the tour, set to begin October 14, was announced as sold out on August 12. Doechii gained widespread recognition with her 2023 hit "What It Is (Block Boy)." She followed up in 2024 with the mixtape "Alligator Bites Never Heal," released through Capitol and Top Dawg, which won her a Grammy for Best Rap Album in February. Later that year, she was honored as Variety’s Hitmakers Hip-Hop Disruptor of the Year, reflecting on her creative process: "I was able to birth this out of pure presence and creativity, and I think I want to carry that with all of my projects and have that mentality moving forward." More recently, during a BET Awards acceptance speech, she spoke out against the Trump administration and its policies, pledging to use her platform to support oppressed communities, including Black, Latino, and trans people, as well as those in Gaza. She stated, "What type of government is that? People are being swept up and torn from their families? We all deserve to live in hope and not in fear. And I hope we stand together my brothers and my sisters against hate and we protest against it."
