Noel Gallagher of Oasis has broken his silence on the band’s hugely successful reunion tour, sharing his thoughts on performing with his brother Liam again and expressing pride in him

During a scheduled TalkSport interview on Tuesday, which was meant to focus on football, the discussion quickly turned to Oasis’s return after 16 years apart. Reflecting on the tour, Gallagher admitted he’s completely blown away by the experience, a feeling echoed by everyone involved. He struggled to put it into words, describing how every night carries the intensity of an opening show, with the crowd bringing nonstop energy. He called the whole thing unbelievable, adding that for once he’s nearly at a loss for words. It’s remarkable how certain experiences leave a lasting impression, even when you think you’ve seen it all. At the Cardiff opener, Noel and Liam, famous for their turbulent relationship, walked onstage hand in hand. While Noel brushed it off as out of character, he acknowledged it’s good to be in a band with his brother again and admitted he’d forgotten how entertaining Liam can be. Looking back at the massive stadium crowds and their electrifying presence, Gallagher confessed he hadn’t fully grasped what he was getting into. Despite his history with large venues, he said his legs went shaky halfway through the second song. Even so, he called the experience incredible. It’s rare to hear such candidness from someone who usually holds back. Though his praise was understated, Noel did say Liam is performing brilliantly and that he’s proud of him. He recognized the difficulty of commanding a stadium the way Liam does, admitting it’s not something he could pull off himself, and mentioned he often looks over and thinks, good for you. Oasis has wrapped up the UK and Ireland leg of the tour, with North America next on the schedule. After two more shows in London in September, the band will head to Asia, Australia, and South America, finishing up in November. Rumors about extending the tour are already circulating, but when questioned, Gallagher avoided the topic and steered the conversation back to football.
