While she doesn’t know why Gaga never released it, Rae mentioned she would be thrilled to hear Gaga perform it live one day. Anderfjärd and Kloser’s connection to Martin’s publishing company, MXM, added a meaningful industry layer to the night. Looking ahead, Rae is preparing for "The Addison Tour," which begins in Europe later this month before moving to North America and Australia. She also looked back on opening for Lana Del Rey at London’s Wembley Stadium last month, where the two performed "Diet Pepsi" together. Rae described the huge show as intimidating but impactful, made easier by Lana’s encouraging presence and the chance to get the audience ready. Playing on such an iconic stage is a significant step for any new artist, and Rae appeared to welcome both the jitters and the progress that followed.
