The situation unfolded last Thursday when he was seen walking on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles dressed only in underwear and cowboy boots. Court documents from LA Superior Court show the artist, whose legal name is Montero Hill, faces three counts of battery on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. He remains in custody without bail and is expected to appear before Judge Sarah Ellenberg in Van Nuys later today, where bail might be set. The LAPD initially withheld his identity but verified to Variety that a naked, disoriented man was detained and hospitalized around 5:50 a.m. TMZ shared video of Lil Nas X walking late at night and later posted clips of him fully nude while rapping along to Nicki Minaj's part in the song "Monster." Public incidents involving well-known figures often attract intense media scrutiny, which can complicate the conversation around personal well-being and legal processes. The police were alerted early Thursday morning following reports of a nude person behaving erratically in public. On Wednesday, he shared short music clips and photos from inside his residence, including one where he wore the same white cowboy boots visible in Thursday's footage.
