Ariana Grande Announces 2026 ‘Eternal Sunshine’ Tour Dates

After a seven-year break from the stage, Ariana Grande has officially announced her return to touring. The pop superstar first hinted at the news through a social media post on Wednesday, with a complete list of dates revealed on her Instagram story within 24 hours. The initial schedule includes nine North American cities, plus a five-night run in London, with expectations that more locations will be added in the coming weeks. In North America, tickets will first become available through an artist presale starting Tuesday, September 9, at 10AM local time. Registration is required and must be completed by Sunday, September 7, at 11AM PT / 2PM ET via https://livemu.sc/arianagrande. Access will be linked directly to Ticketmaster accounts—no codes will be distributed. Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Wednesday, September 10, at 10AM local time. UK fans will have two presale opportunities: an artist presale and an O2 Priority Presale, both launching Tuesday, September 16, at 10AM BST. Artist presale registration closes Sunday, September 7, at 7PM BST. The general sale follows on Thursday, September 18, at 10AM BST. A range of VIP packages and exclusive fan experiences will be offered for all shows. Grande initially teased the tour with a short Instagram video on August 27, styled after her “Brighter Days Ahead” short film, which showed her standing at a microphone. The film was released earlier this year as part of the deluxe edition of her 2024 album “Eternal Sunshine.” The album, which included six bonus tracks, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking her return to music after focusing on film and theater. “Eternal Sunshine” received widespread critical acclaim for its introspective lyrics and polished production, reestablishing Grande’s presence on the pop landscape. Her last tour concluded in December 2019 in support of the albums “Sweetener” and “Thank U, Next.” Since then, Grande has concentrated on her acting career, including her current role in “Focker In-Law,” the fourth installment in the “Meet the Parents” franchise. She is also set to begin promotion for “Wicked: For Good,” the second part of the “Wicked” film adaptation, in which she stars as Glinda opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba. In a late 2023 interview with Variety, Grande spoke candidly about her relationship with touring, saying, “I feel so grateful to the acting, and I think my fans know that music and being on stage will always be a part of my life, but I don’t see it coming anytime soon.” She expressed gratitude for her fans’ patience and acknowledged that while acting has been a recent focus, music remains central to her identity. Industry experts suggest her return to touring reflects both persistent audience demand and a thoughtful realignment of her creative endeavors. Music analyst Rebecca Shaw commented, “Grande’s comeback signals not just a tour, but a reconnection with the core of her artistry at a pivotal moment in her career.” The tour is scheduled to kick off in June 2026 with back-to-back performances at Oakland Arena in California, followed by multiple nights in Los Angeles at both Crypto.com Arena and the Kia Forum. Additional stops include Austin’s Moody Center, Sunrise’s Amerant Bank Arena, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, and multi-night engagements in Brooklyn at Barclays Center, Boston at TD Garden, Montreal at Centre Bell, and Chicago at United Center. The European leg will wrap with five shows at London’s O2 Arena, a landmark venue that has hosted major global acts since its opening in 2007.
