Addressing the audience, Gaga remarked, “Working on ‘Wednesday’ season two was unforgettable. Collaborating with Tim Burton, Jenna, and the entire team was a true honor—thank you. I’m also excited to share that my new track, ‘The Dead Dance,’ is coming very soon.” The release is strategically set for a Wednesday, echoing earlier Variety reports that the song will feature in the second season of the Tim Burton-directed Netflix series. Rumors about the track gained momentum last month when several media outlets revealed that Gaga had shot a music video with Burton on Mexico City’s Island of the Dolls in Xochimilco.
