Due to overwhelming fan demand, Ariana Grande has expanded the North American portion of her 2026 "Eternal Sunshine" tour with nine additional concerts. The newly added shows will begin on June 10 at Oakland Arena, with stops at major venues including Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Austin’s Moody Center, and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, before wrapping up on August 6 at Chicago’s United Center. This tour marks Grande’s first global concert series since 2019, generating significant anticipation among her devoted fanbase, known as Arianators.
Pre-sale tickets became available early Tuesday, with the general public on-sale scheduled for September 10. A range of VIP packages will also be offered, featuring exclusive benefits such as prime seating, limited-edition merchandise, and opportunities for meet-and-greets. According to industry experts, premium ticket bundles now represent a growing portion of tour income, enabling artists to finance more ambitious productions while offering fans enhanced experiences. As one entertainment analyst noted, “High-end VIP offerings are reshaping how tours are monetized, especially for artists with intensely engaged audiences like Grande.”
Grande’s previous tour concluded in late 2019 in support of her albums "Sweetener" and "Thank U, Next." Since then, she has shifted focus toward acting, including a role in the forthcoming comedy "Focker In-Law," the newest installment in the "Meet the Parents" series. She is also preparing for the release of "Wicked: For Good," the second film in the two-part adaptation where she stars as Glinda. The original Broadway production of "Wicked" debuted in 2003 and has since become one of the most financially successful musicals ever, heightening expectations for Grande’s performance in the cinematic version.
The tour extension follows Grande’s prominent appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards, where she presented the Video Vanguard Award to music legend Mariah Carey and won Video of the Year for "Brighter Days Ahead." The award recognized the elaborate sci-fi visual connected to her 2024 album "Eternal Sunshine" and its 2025 deluxe edition. During her acceptance speech, Grande emotionally acknowledged her supporters, emphasizing the deep connection that has sustained her career from its inception.
Tour promoter Live Nation indicated that further dates could be added if ticket demand remains high, reflecting both Grande’s lasting appeal and the resurgence of large-scale live events after several years of industry disruption. This trend is part of a broader post-pandemic recovery in which major tours are seeing record-breaking attendance and extended runs, signaling a robust return for the live music sector.
