My Chemical Romance Announce ‘Black Parade 2026’ Tour Dates

Celebrating two decades since the release of their landmark third album, My Chemical Romance has announced "The Black Parade 2026," an extensive 17-date stadium tour spanning North America, the UK, and Europe. This major undertaking extends the energy from their recent "Long Live: The Black Parade" shows, highlighting the enduring cultural impact of their 2006 concept record. The album, a triple-platinum certified work that chronicles the journey of a character known as "The Patient," is widely regarded as a genre-defining masterpiece that permanently altered the landscape of emo and rock music.

Tickets for the newly announced shows will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 26, starting at 12:00 pm local time. The European leg begins on June 30 at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium and concludes on July 18 in Madrid. Due to overwhelming demand that saw the first two London dates at Wembley Stadium sell out instantly, an additional performance has been added for July 11. Wembley Stadium, a legendary venue with a capacity of 90,000, has hosted historic events ranging from the 2012 Olympic Games to iconic concerts by artists like Queen and Adele, cementing its status as a global entertainment landmark.

The North American segment resumes on August 9 at New York's Citi Field, following two sold-out February concerts in Mexico City. The tour will then journey across the United States, with performances in major markets including Nashville, Denver, and Phoenix, culminating in a three-night stand at Los Angeles's iconic Hollywood Bowl from October 21-24. A formidable lineup of special guests—Franz Ferdinand, Pierce the Veil, Iggy Pop, and Jimmy Eat World—will provide support. This curated selection of artists is a deliberate strategy to bridge musical eras; as noted by music industry analyst Dr. Lena Vance, "Pairing a proto-punk legend like Iggy Pop with My Chemical Romance creates a powerful, cross-generational appeal, making each show a unique cultural event."

These concerts form just one part of an incredibly packed global itinerary for the band in 2026. The group's schedule already includes a full slate of South American dates in January and February, a Southeast Asian tour throughout April and May, and headline appearances at major US festivals such as Florida's Welcome to Rockville and Kentucky's Louder Than Life. This meticulously planned, year-long campaign is designed to bring their music to a worldwide audience without pause, demonstrating their significant and sustained international draw.
