Show morePerformers and Presenters for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony Include Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Elton John, Missy Elliott, David Letterman and More
Los Angeles will host the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction on November 8th, featuring a deliberately curated mix of presenters and performers designed to connect different musical generations. Modern hitmakers Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, and Raye will share the stage with enduring legends like Elton John, Iggy Pop, and Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea. In a nod to the ceremony's widening cultural lens, veteran television host David Letterman—whose late-night show was an essential showcase for musical performance for decades—has also joined the lineup.
As is customary, the Hall of Fame has not disclosed which presenter will honor which inductee, leaving the pairings a mystery. This means fans can only speculate on which of the announced guests—a group that also includes Missy Elliott, Brandi Carlile, Killer Mike, and Teddy Swims—will pay tribute to a specific artist. The full, alphabetically ordered list released this week further includes Beck, Questlove, Maxwell, J.I.D, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, and Twenty One Pilots, with more participants likely to be confirmed closer to the event.
The 2024 inductee class itself powerfully illustrates the wide range of popular music. The performer category, chosen by an international voting body, welcomes Bad Company, the White Stripes, Soundgarden, Outkast, Cyndi Lauper, and Joe Cocker. They are joined by Chubby Checker, the singer whose 1960 single "The Twist" sparked a global dance craze and remains the only record to have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in two separate chart runs. In categories selected by a special committee, the groundbreaking hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa and the late, revered songwriter Warren Zevon will be recognized for their profound musical influence. As one music historian observed, "This lineup challenges any narrow definition of rock and roll, celebrating instead the spirit of innovation that connects artists across genres and decades."
The event will take place at Los Angeles's Peacock Theater, a venue well-known for hosting major award ceremonies and televised specials. For those watching from home, the ceremony will be streamed live across the U.S. exclusively on Disney+ on November 8th, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. A condensed prime-time highlights special is set to broadcast on ABC on January 1, 2026, broadening the event's reach to a mainstream television audience. This special will then be available for on-demand streaming on Hulu starting January 2nd. Tickets for the live ceremony are now on sale to the general public through AXS.com.
