Show moreGracie Abrams’ Red Rocks Concert to Stream on Apple Music
An exclusive concert film featuring Gracie Abrams, recorded this past August at Colorado's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre, is set to premiere on Apple Music Live. The special, officially titled "Apple Music Live: Gracie Abrams," will make its debut on Wednesday, October 29, beginning at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. After the initial broadcast, the complete performance will be available for on-demand streaming to all Apple Music subscribers, enhanced by immersive Spatial Audio technology.
The show's setlist is heavily drawn from the deluxe version of her 2024 album, "The Secret of Us," showcasing tracks such as "Let It Happen," "I Told You Things," "Free Now," and the popular single "That’s So True." Abrams also treated the audience to songs from her critically acclaimed debut "Good Riddance," her introductory EP "Minor," and one of the nightly surprise songs she incorporated into the tour. These two sold-out nights at Red Rocks marked the conclusion of her extensive, multi-month tour in support of the album. The venue itself, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, is a world-famous, naturally formed open-air stage located just outside Denver. Celebrated for its unparalleled acoustics and breathtaking scenery, it has been a top-tier performance destination since it officially opened in 1941, hosting everyone from The Beatles to U2.
Complementing the concert film, Abrams will sit down for an in-depth interview with Apple Music's influential host, Zane Lowe. This conversation will be released for free on Tuesday, October 28, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET via the Apple Music 1 radio station, before becoming available on-demand for subscribers. This high-profile feature follows a significant career milestone for Abrams, who was named by the Songwriters Hall of Fame as the 2025 recipient of the Hal David Starlight Award this past June. This prestigious honor, which spotlights the achievements of exceptionally talented young songwriters, has a notable roster of past recipients including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, SZA, and Post Malone. An industry analyst commented, "Being recognized with this award so early in a career often signifies an artist's arrival as a defining voice for their generation, firmly placing Abrams within an elite creative lineage."
The Apple Music Live series has become a premier destination for exclusive concert films, showcasing a diverse roster of artists in unique settings. Previous installments have ranged from SZA's arena spectacle at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Billie Eilish’s massive production at London’s O2 Arena—one of the world's busiest entertainment venues—to more intimate sessions like Kacey Musgraves' performance at New York's historic Electric Lady Studios. By capturing these pivotal live moments, the series not only provides entertainment but also builds a significant digital archive, offering music fans across the globe a virtual front-row seat to landmark events.
