Show more‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Singers to Perform First Concert Appearance at KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball
The vocalists behind the hit animated film "KPop Demon Hunters"—EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami—are set to make their inaugural live appearance as a group this December. iHeartRadio, the media giant that operates KIIS-FM, announced this Wednesday that the trio will join the star-studded roster for its yearly Jingle Ball. The event is scheduled for Friday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m., and will be held at Los Angeles’s newly opened Intuit Dome.
This high-profile booking marks a crucial step in the group’s promotional strategy, which has already included major television exposure. After delivering the first complete live rendition of their chart-topping single "Golden" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," they made a cameo and performed an abbreviated version of the track on "Saturday Night Live" with host Bad Bunny on October 4. Industry expert David Lee noted, “Landing back-to-back slots on ‘Fallon’ and ‘SNL’ underscores their broad appeal and the film’s huge cultural impact.” This carefully orchestrated media campaign has successfully built anticipation for their live debut.
In the movie, each singer provides the vocal performance for a central character: EJAE voices Rumi (acted by Arden Cho), Audrey Nuna sings for Mira (May Hong), and Rei Ami performs as Zoey (Ji-young Yoo). "KPop Demon Hunters," co-directed by Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang, tells the story of a K-pop sensation that secretly battles demons. Released on June 20, the film rapidly became the streaming platform’s most-viewed title by late August. Its soundtrack has occupied the number one position on the Billboard albums chart for several non-consecutive weeks, while the single "Golden" led the Hot 100 for eight weeks—the second-longest run ever for an all-female group.
Beyond Los Angeles, iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball tour will visit other key cities including Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, Detroit, and New York. The trio will perform alongside previously confirmed acts like Conan Gray, Feid, Jackson Wang, Renee Rapp, and Zara Larsson. A portion of the proceeds—one dollar from each ticket—will support the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Founded by television and radio personality Ryan Seacrest, the organization is dedicated to inspiring young patients in pediatric hospitals through media and entertainment initiatives, bringing a meaningful cause to the holiday celebration.
