Show moreDemi Lovato Announces ‘It’s Not That Deep’ North American Tour
This spring, Demi Lovato will embark on a 23-city North American tour, her first major headlining run in three years. Kicking off on April 8th at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center, the "It’s Not That Deep" tour shares its name with her recently released ninth studio album. Lovato, who first gained recognition on the Disney Channel, has navigated a career through pop, rock, and soul, making her current pivot to dance-pop a significant artistic development.
The itinerary includes stops at many of the continent's most prestigious venues, such as New York's Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles' Kia Forum, concluding on May 25th at Houston’s Toyota Center. To build anticipation, Lovato recently performed an intimate set at the Hollywood Palladium, showcasing the new album's upbeat production alongside beloved hits. This preview performance not only demonstrated her continued vocal prowess but also served as a direct bridge to the expansive energy of the upcoming arena shows.
All tour dates will feature special guest Adéla as the opening act. Industry expert Maria Flores commented on the strategic move, stating, "Lovato’s dedicated fanbase, often called 'Lovatics,' has consistently supported her through various musical eras. Pairing this new dance-pop direction with a return to large-scale touring is a powerful combination that capitalizes on both artist evolution and audience loyalty." This approach follows a trend of major pop acts using album-titled tours to create a cohesive brand experience.
Ticket pre-sales requiring registration through Ticketmaster are scheduled to begin on October 30th at 10 a.m. local time, with general public sales commencing on October 31st.
