Saudi Arabia’s Groundbreaking Telfaz11 Studio Forges Music Licensing Partnership With Mdlbeast

Two of Saudi Arabia's most prominent youth-focused entertainment companies, Telefaz11 and Mdlbeast, have announced a strategic partnership to integrate music into film. The collaboration will see Telefaz11 license tracks from the Mdlbeast Records catalog and tap into its network of artists and producers for its upcoming slate of films and original series. This initiative aims to weave authentic Saudi and regional sounds directly into cinematic narratives, forging a stronger link between the Kingdom's burgeoning film and music sectors.

Telefaz11, the innovative studio behind the hit series "Mandoob," is currently showcasing the Saudi comedy "The Fakenapping" at the Red Sea Film Festival ahead of its Netflix debut. Mdlbeast, known for organizing the massive Soundstorm music festival, also operates a growing music platform. By combining Telefaz11's storytelling prowess with Mdlbeast's musical resources, the partnership seeks to create more emotionally resonant content. Industry analysts suggest this model could significantly increase the commercial value of local intellectual property by creating synergistic soundtracks that boost both film visibility and music streams.

"This partnership underscores our shared commitment to elevating creative and Saudi voices in films and cinema," said Telefaz11 CEO Alaa Fadan. He added that the alliance merges powerful narrative with cultural energy to build authentic cinematic worlds. Mdlbeast CEO Talal Albahiti echoed this sentiment, stating, "Our partnership with Telefaz11 expands the creative canvas for Saudi and regional artists and composers and leverages our expansive music library from around the world. Together, we're amplifying the sounds of culture."

The deal is seen as a pivotal step in developing a fully integrated creative ecosystem within Saudi Arabia. It supports local talent and aims to position the Kingdom as a global hub for innovative content. This move reflects a broader regional trend where media companies are creating vertical integrations to control more aspects of production and distribution, thereby fostering a more sustainable and distinctive entertainment industry.
