Show moreThalia, With Nadia Ferreira and Clarissa Molina, to Host Premio Lo Nuestro 2026
TelevisaUnivision has revealed that the iconic singer, actress, and businesswoman Thalia will return to helm Premio Lo Nuestro 2026, marking her fourth stint as master of ceremonies for the prestigious Latin music awards. She will be joined by a dynamic co-hosting panel featuring international model Nadia Ferreira and Emmy Award-winning actress Clarissa Molina. Beyond her hosting duties, Thalia herself is in the running for two awards this year: Best Female Combination and Mexican Music Collaboration of the Year.
The live broadcast is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT across the Univision, UNIMÁS, and Galavisión networks in the United States. It will also stream simultaneously on the ViX platform throughout most of Latin America. Thalia, whose career spans decades and includes global hits like "Amor a la Mexicana," expressed her enthusiasm: "Premio Lo Nuestro has been part of my story for many years, and returning to this stage as a host is something that fills me with excitement. It’s a celebration of our music, our roots, and the Latin talent that continues to shine on a global level."
Nadia Ferreira, who hosted the pre-show 'Noche de Estrellas' last year, noted, "It means so much to be back this time as an official host of the main show." Clarissa Molina added her perspective, calling the role "a reminder to never forget where we come from." Industry analysts suggest that having such high-profile hosts reflects the ceremony's growing prestige and its importance as a cultural touchstone for the Latin diaspora.
This year's nominations are led by a powerhouse group of artists. Bad Bunny, Carín León, Myke Towers, and Rauw Alejandro each garnered an impressive 10 nominations, contending in major categories like Artist, Song, and Album of the Year. They are closely followed by artists such as Beéle, Fuerza Regida, and Karol G. The ceremony, themed “Honrando lo que Somos” (“Honoring who we are”), aims to celebrate the cultural unity and pride inherent in Latin music. Fans have until January 26 to cast their votes for winners at PremioloNuestro.com.
For those wishing to attend in person, tickets for the event at Miami's Kaseya Center—a major venue that also hosts the NBA's Miami Heat—are now on sale. The full list of performers and other special guests will be announced in the weeks leading up to the show. The complete nominee roster includes contenders for Song of the Year like Bad Bunny's "DTMF" and Karol G's "Latina Foreva," while Album of the Year features works from Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, and Prince Royce, showcasing the genre's diverse landscape.
