‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals the Identity of Queen Corgi After She Prematurely Quits: Here Is the Celebrity Under the Costume

The January 28th episode of Fox's "The Masked Singer" celebrated four decades of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" with a significant format break. Departing from the show's typical elimination structure, the celebrity behind the Queen Corgi mask chose to voluntarily exit the competition, revealing herself to be Claudia Oshry.

Oshry, a prominent social media influencer and podcaster, made her decision following a performance of Sia's "Unstoppable." She later clarified to Variety that the demands of the show conflicted with her life as a new mother to a four-month-old she was exclusively breastfeeding. Having achieved her personal objective of singing on national TV, she felt it was the right moment to withdraw. The unplanned unmasking surprised the panel of judges—Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora—whose guesses had included comedians like Amy Schumer and Ali Wong.

Such self-initiated exits are exceptionally rare for the series. The only precedent was set by actor Mickey Rourke during Season 4. Oshry noted that the production team, including many supportive women, respected her choice. Media analyst Dr. Lena Shaw commented, "This incident points to an evolving reality TV landscape where production schedules are increasingly mindful of participants' real-world obligations, especially for new parents." This flexibility allows the show to handle unforeseen departures while maintaining its core narrative flow.

The TMNT tribute night continued with performances from other contestants like Galaxy Girl and Stingray. The episode opened with judge Ken Jeong leading a rendition of the iconic cartoon theme song. This performance will generate royalties for the song's co-writer, legendary TV producer Chuck Lorre, whose creation portfolio includes defining sitcoms such as "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory."

Claudia Oshry now joins the list of unveiled Season 14 stars, which includes Taraji P. Henson as Scarab and baseball legend David Ortiz as Googly Eyes. Hosted by Nick Cannon, this season introduces a new clue-giving role called "America's Insider," played in disguise by social media personality Kylie Cantrall as the character Cat Witch. Future episodes promise themed nights, including tributes to "Star Trek" and the "Twilight Saga," a "Fear Factor" challenge hosted by Johnny Knoxville, and an "Ozzfest Night" honoring rock icon Ozzy Osbourne. The latter will feature a performance by his daughter Kelly Osbourne, a Season 2 alumna, illustrating the show's penchant for creating connections across its different seasons.
