Show moreZayn Announces ‘The Konnakol Tour’ Dates
Former One Direction member Zayn Malik has announced a major 31-date world tour, "The Konnakol Tour," produced by Live Nation. This marks his first solo headline run in major arenas and stadiums, a significant escalation following his successful Las Vegas residency earlier this year. The tour supports his upcoming fifth studio album, "Konnakol," set for release on April 17 through Mercury Records.
The tour announcement arrives alongside the imminent release of the album's lead single, "Die for Me," and its music video. Malik's 2016 solo debut, "Mind of Mine," famously debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, proving his commercial viability outside the world's biggest boy band. Industry observers see this large-scale tour as a critical test of his enduring solo appeal. "Headlining at this level is the ultimate metric for a pop artist's standalone brand," notes music business consultant Leo Walsh. "It moves Malik from a streaming and radio presence into the elite tier of live performers."
The itinerary launches in Manchester, UK, at the AO Arena on May 12 before spanning Europe, Mexico, and North America. The final show is scheduled for November 20 at Miami's Kaseya Center. Highlights include a performance at London's renowned The O2 arena, a 20,000-capacity venue that has hosted everyone from Beyoncé to the Rolling Stones, and stadium stops in Monterrey and Mexico City.
Tickets will first be available via a Zayn VIP Key presale beginning February 10. The general public on-sale follows on February 13, with times varying by market. A selection of VIP packages, which typically include premium tickets, limited merchandise, and other exclusive perks, will also be offered. This global trek represents Malik's most extensive live undertaking since One Direction's "On the Road Again Tour" in 2015, firmly re-establishing him as a major concert draw nearly a decade later.
