Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Announce ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ American Tour

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have confirmed a 20-city U.S. tour titled 'Land of Hope and Dreams,' launching this spring. The itinerary, which had previously surfaced online, commences on March 31 at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The extensive run will visit major markets including Austin, Atlanta, and New York City for a multi-night stand at the iconic Madison Square Garden, concluding on May 27 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

In a statement released on social media, Springsteen framed the tour as a patriotic counter to current political strife. Addressing "brothers and sisters, fans, friends and good folks from coast to coast," he wrote, "We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times. But do not despair, the calvary is coming." He explicitly described the concerts as being held "in celebration and in defense of America," extending an invitation to attendees regardless of political affiliation. This theme is reinforced by the "No Kings" slogan featured on tour artwork, a reference to an activist group organizing a major protest against former President Donald Trump in late March. Cultural historian Dr. Lena Shaw noted, "Springsteen has long used his platform to comment on the American experience, but this tour announcement is among his most direct political mobilizations, framing the concert itself as an act of civic participation."

The announcement follows the recent release of Springsteen's protest single "Streets of Minneapolis," a critique of immigration enforcement dedicated to the city's immigrant communities and two residents, Renee Good and Alex Pretti, whom the artist stated were killed by ICE agents. A Trump administration spokesperson dismissed the song upon its release, asserting the White House does not focus on "random songs with irrelevant opinions and inaccurate information." This public exchange highlights the charged cultural climate the tour will navigate, indicating setlists may intersperse classic anthems with this newer, politically pointed material. Springsteen's music has historically served as a unifying force during national crises, with songs like "The Rising" offering solace after the September 11 attacks.

The tour will play several historic venues, including Los Angeles's Kia Forum. Originally opened in 1967 as The Forum, the arena was a premier concert destination for decades, hosting legendary acts from The Rolling Stones to Led Zeppelin before its comprehensive renovation. These storied locations are a fitting setting for Bruce Springsteen, a 1999 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee renowned for his marathon, high-energy performances with the E Street Band. The group's shows are famous for their relentless pacing and ability to foster a powerful sense of communal experience among audiences.

The full 'Land of Hope and Dreams' tour schedule is as follows: March 31 in Minneapolis, MN (Target Center); April 3 in Portland, OR (Moda Center); April 7 & 9 in Inglewood, CA (Kia Forum); April 13 in San Francisco, CA (Chase Center); April 16 in Phoenix, AZ (Mortgage Matchup Center); April 20 in Newark, NJ (Prudential Center); April 23 in Sunrise, FL (Amerant Bank Arena); April 26 in Austin, TX (Moody Center); April 29 in Chicago, IL (United Center); May 2 in Atlanta, GA (State Farm Arena); May 5 in Belmont Park, NY (UBS Arena); May 8 in Philadelphia, PA (Xfinity Mobile Arena); May 11 & 16 in New York, NY (Madison Square Garden); May 14 in Brooklyn, NY (Barclays Center); May 19 in Pittsburgh, PA (PPG Paints Arena); May 22 in Cleveland, OH (Rocket Arena); May 24 in Boston, MA (TD Garden); and the finale on May 27 in Washington, D.C.
