He has been cast in a recurring role for the new CBS drama "Marshals," a direct spinoff from the hit series "Yellowstone." The show will follow Kayce Dutton's new career with a specialized U.S. Marshals unit in Montana. For Green, best known for chart-toppers like "There Was This Girl," this marks his official acting debut.

Green will portray Garrett, a former Navy SEAL who arrives unexpectedly at the ranch seeking help from old friends Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) and Cal (Logan Marshall-Green).
