Everlast Signs With Thirty Tigers, New Single ‘Stones’ Drops Tonight

Veteran artist Everlast, whose career ignited with the hip-hop group House of Pain, has announced a strategic new record deal and confirmed details for his first studio album in almost ten years. The agreement with Thirty Tigers, executed in collaboration with Regime Music Group, sets a 2026 target for the full album's release. An initial single titled "Stones," produced by longtime associate Yelawolf, will precede the project, giving listeners a preview of the new direction.

Thematically, "Stones" explores a journey of accountability and personal transformation. Everlast describes the song as mapping a progression "from self-loathing to self-healing and forgiveness," centering on regret and the pursuit of redemption. This release continues momentum from other recent previews, including a teaser of an album track called "Rubber Bullets" and the politically charged 2023 single "Blood on the Wheel." That earlier song, created with producer WLPWR, served as a direct protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations, highlighting Everlast's continued engagement with social issues. Industry experts suggest this blend of personal and political commentary is a hallmark of his most resonant work, appealing to a fanbase that values artistic authenticity.

David Macias, President of Thirty Tigers, expressed strong enthusiasm for the partnership, citing a personal meeting as the decisive factor. While acknowledging Everlast's proven track record—from the multi-platinum success of his 1998 solo debut *Whitey Ford Sings the Blues* to a Grammy win for his feature on Santana's "Put Your Lights On"—Macias emphasized the artist's connection to his audience. "The real catalyst was understanding his deep commitment to his fans, the everyday working people who have supported him," Macias stated. The label, founded in 2002, has become known for its artist-centric distribution model, often partnering with established acts seeking more control than a traditional major label offers.

Everlast's genre-blending journey began with House of Pain's 1992 global smash "Jump Around," but he soon carved a unique solo path by fusing hip-hop with rock, blues, and folk. This eclectic style not only defined albums like *Whitey Ford Sings the Blues* but also extended to television, earning him an Emmy nomination for the theme song to the TNT series *Saving Grace*. His ability to navigate different musical landscapes has sustained a career spanning over three decades and sets the stage for his forthcoming work.

Fans won't have to wait until 2026 to experience new material live. Everlast is scheduled to perform a special set for the Skratch N Sniff radio show's St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl broadcast on March 14. A more prominent showcase is set for September 25 at the Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland. Such festival appearances are increasingly critical for veteran artists, serving as a platform to reaffirm their stage presence and bridge classic hits with new songs. As music marketing analyst Dr. Lena Shaw noted, "For legacy acts, a well-curated festival slot functions as both a testament to enduring appeal and a strategic launchpad for a new chapter, directly engaging the core audience that streaming algorithms often miss."
