Lori Feldman, Former Top Marketing Exec at Warner and Wasserman, Launches Redefine Music Advisors Consultancy
Lori Feldman, a respected veteran of music and entertainment marketing, has announced the launch of her new strategic consultancy, Redefine Music Advisors. The firm aims to guide music companies, artists, and brands through what she describes as an "increasingly complex and evolving global music ecosystem." Feldman expressed her gratitude for her past collaborations, stating, "I’m deeply grateful to the companies, talent, and partners I’ve had the privilege to work with throughout my career." She emphasized her new venture's focused approach, noting, "At this time in my life, it’s important to be highly intentional... working closely with a small number of organizations where I can bring meaningful insight and help shape actionable paths forward."
Feldman's career establishes her as one of the industry's top marketing executives. Her most recent role was as chief marketing officer at the talent agency Wasserman, a position she departed late last year. Prior to that, she served as CMO at Paradigm Agency, which she joined in 2019. This move followed a monumental 25-year tenure at Warner Records, the iconic label originally founded as Warner Bros. Records in 1958. There, she rose to the position of executive vice president of strategic marketing, leading a team responsible for developing comprehensive marketing platforms and commercial partnerships for the label's roster of artists.
Her extensive background includes founding Warner's first-ever synchronization department, a critical division that licenses music for use in films, television, advertisements, and video games. In this role, she represented the label's catalog to clients across these industries and also served as an executive producer on select film and television soundtracks before her 2012 promotion to EVP. Industry analysts suggest this deep expertise in sync and brand partnerships will be a cornerstone of her consultancy, as these revenue streams have become essential in the modern streaming economy. One veteran A&R executive, speaking on background, noted, "Lori's ability to bridge creative artistry with commercial strategy is rare; her new venture fills a niche for artists seeking more than just traditional label support."
Feldman's career began in college marketing and video promotion at Virgin Records before she moved to Warner Bros. Records in 1995. The launch of Redefine Music Advisors marks a strategic pivot for Feldman, leveraging her decades of experience at major labels and agencies into a bespoke advisory model. This shift reflects a broader trend of seasoned executives applying their institutional knowledge to navigate the fragmented digital landscape, where artist development and revenue generation require increasingly nuanced strategies.
