Tiwa Savage, Earl Sweatshirt, Rachel Chinouriri and More Lead SXSW London Music Lineup

The 2026 edition of SXSW London has announced its initial wave of musical talent, headlined by Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage, acclaimed rapper Earl Sweatshirt, and rising British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri. Scheduled for June 1-6 in the city's Shoreditch district, the festival builds on its successful 2025 debut with a mission to unite global artists, spotlighting both underground movements and well-known performers. This approach reflects a broader industry trend where physical festivals are increasingly valued as curated antidotes to algorithm-driven discovery.

Joining the lineup are a diverse array of acts including the genre-defying Nigerian rapper ODUMODUBLVCK, whose sound blends grime and hip-hop, the soulful soft rock of Infinity Song, and producer Fraser T Smith, a Grammy-winning collaborator with artists like Adele. The bill also features electronic innovator Sega Bodega, the punk energy of London's Shame, indie-rock group Circa Waves, singer Amaria BB, and legendary BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong. As SXSW London's head of music, Adem Holness, stated, "In an age of AI-generated content, authentic cultural movements born from local scenes are the true engine of progress. Our role is to provide a stage where these distinct voices, from ODUMODUBLVCK's fusion of influences to Shame's DIY ethos, can converge and define a non-uniform future for music."

Music passes for the event are currently available for purchase, with one-day wristbands starting at an accessible £25. The festival, an offshoot of the iconic South by Southwest (SXSW) event founded in Austin, Texas in 1987, extends beyond concerts into a major conference. This year's speaker roster features an eclectic mix, from YouTube personality Markiplier and Ben & Jerry's co-founder Ben Cohen to Hinge CEO Jackie Jantos, musician Mike Skinner of The Streets, broadcaster Roman Kemp, and actor Tye Sheridan.
