Indian Singer Shreya Ghoshal to Release First-Ever Live Album From ‘All Hearts’ Tour (EXCLUSIVE)

Sony Music India has revealed that Shreya Ghoshal, the iconic playback vocalist renowned for a discography exceeding 3,500 tracks across more than twenty languages, is set to launch her first-ever live album. Titled "All Hearts Tour – Live Album," the project captures highlights from her massive 44-city "All Hearts" global tour, which reached audiences across India, North America, Europe, the U.K., the Middle East, and Australia. Key performances were recorded at prestigious international locations such as London's OVO Arena Wembley, California's Oakland Arena, and Wolf Trap in Virginia.

The album serves as a comprehensive career retrospective, showcasing definitive hits from Hindi cinema. The tracklist includes powerful anthems like "Deewani Mastani" from the historical drama *Bajirao Mastani*, the vibrant "Chikni Chameli" from *Agneepath*, and the romantic ballad "Samjhawan" from *Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania*. The tour itself was marked by historic milestones. At Detroit's Fox Theatre, a venue with a storied history dating back to 1928, Ghoshal became just the second Indian artist to headline, following in the footsteps of the revered Lata Mangeshkar. She also achieved a singular feat by performing at Los Angeles's Dolby Theatre, the permanent venue for the Oscars ceremony. "This album is my gift to everyone that’s been a part of my journey," Ghoshal remarked, noting it offers fans a chance to recreate the concert atmosphere at home.

Ghoshal's path to stardom started with classical music training in early childhood, leading to a victory on the televised singing competition "Sa Re Ga Ma." Her breakthrough arrived with the soundtrack for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2002 masterpiece *Devdas*, a debut that instantly secured her both a National Film Award and a Filmfare Award. Over two decades, she has collected an astonishing five National Film Awards and seventeen Filmfare Awards, a record that underscores her enduring dominance in the industry. Her reach extends globally through collaborations with acts like the a cappella group Pentatonix and a consistent presence on Spotify's global charts, where she currently holds the 53rd position. In a landmark move for Indian music, she was named Spotify's EQUAL Global Ambassador in 2023, a platform dedicated to promoting gender equity in the audio landscape.

Her international stature is further validated by official proclamations across the United States. The state of Ohio recognizes June 26 as Shreya Ghoshal Day, with the city of Cincinnati declaring July 24 in her honor. Most recently, during her 2024 tour, the city of Austin, Texas, officially proclaimed June 15 as Shreya Ghoshal Day. This pattern of civic recognition finds a parallel in the U.K., where her artistic contributions were formally acknowledged in the House of Commons over a decade ago. In India, her iconic status was cemented in 2017 when she became the first singer to be featured at Madame Tussauds Delhi. As industry analyst Priya Mehta observes, "The release of this live album formally documents a significant shift. It's evidence that the emotive power of Indian playback singing, once confined to film studios, can now command and captivate massive international audiences on its own merit."
