Show more‘Euphoria’ to Screen at Coachella
Fans won't have to wash away the festival glitter just yet, as Coachella is extending the weekend with a special screening. The Season 3 premiere of HBO's hit drama "Euphoria" will be shown in the festival campgrounds this Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, following the final musical acts. Access to this open-air desert watch party is strictly for Coachella wristband holders and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This collaboration is not the first link between the gritty teen drama and the iconic music festival. The show's composer, Labrinth—the British musician and producer known for his genre-blending sound—performed at Coachella in 2023. His set featured a major surprise when he brought out the series' star, Zendaya, for a live rendition of their collaborative songs "All for Us" and "I'm Tired." That moment marked Zendaya's first public performance in over seven years, highlighting the deep creative synergy between the artist and the series. Industry analysts suggest such synergistic promotions are becoming a key strategy for maximizing audience engagement across different entertainment platforms.
The screening serves as a high-profile launch event for the show's long-awaited return. "Euphoria" finally comes back to HBO on April 12 at 9 p.m. PT, ending a four-year hiatus that left fans eagerly anticipating the fates of characters like Rue and Jules. The choice of Coachella as a premiere venue strategically targets the show's core demographic, blending the boundaries between television events and immersive live experiences.
