Show moreBTS, Benson Boone, Cardi B Among Performers Set for iHeartRadio Music Festival 2026
The iHeartRadio Music Festival, presented by Capital One, is set to return to Las Vegas on September 18-19, 2026, with a lineup that spans an unprecedented range of musical genres. Held at the T-Mobile Arena, a 20,000-seat venue on the Las Vegas Strip known for hosting NHL games and the Billboard Music Awards, the event will feature global superstars BTS, breakout singer Benson Boone, and hip-hop icon Cardi B. Ryan Seacrest, the television host famous for his long tenure on 'American Idol,' will once again serve as master of ceremonies. The confirmed artists include rock mainstays like Goo Goo Dolls and Muse, country powerhouses Kenny Chesney and Lainey Wilson, electronic group Major Lazer, rapper Snoop Dogg, alt-rock band Weezer, and Swedish pop star Zara Larsson. Organizers have promised additional artist announcements in the coming months, fueling anticipation for what is shaping up to be a landmark event in the 2026 music calendar.
BTS's participation is particularly noteworthy, as it marks the group's first major U.S. festival appearance since they announced a temporary hiatus in 2022 to focus on solo projects and mandatory military service in South Korea. Music industry analyst Sarah Kim of Billboard described the booking as "a significant moment for both the group and the festival, signaling a renewed appetite for large-scale K-pop performances in the West." For fans unable to travel to Las Vegas, the festival will be broadcast live across iHeartMedia radio stations in over 150 markets nationwide. Additionally, subscribers to Disney+ and Hulu can stream the performances from the arena in real time, ensuring broad accessibility. General ticket sales begin on June 12 at 11 a.m. PT, but Capital One cardholders will have priority access through a pre-sale starting June 10 at 10 a.m. PT. These cardholders can also purchase a Capital One Access Pass, which grants entry to an exclusive pre-show party on September 18 featuring a performance by Weezer. This perk is part of a broader trend in the credit card industry, where companies increasingly offer unique experiences—from concert access to culinary events—to differentiate their rewards programs in a saturated market.
In a joint statement, iHeartMedia executives Tom Poleman, chief programming officer, and John Sykes, president of entertainment enterprises, underscored the festival's commitment to musical diversity. "The iHeartRadio Music Festival is all about bringing together the biggest artists across every genre for two unforgettable nights, and this year's lineup truly reflects the incredible diversity of music today," they said. The duo highlighted the event's multi-platform reach, noting that millions of fans can experience the festival whether they are in the arena, listening on the radio, or streaming at home. Amit Desai, senior director of brand partnerships at Capital One, echoed this sentiment, stating: "Through our partnership with iHeartMedia, Capital One is dedicated to giving music fans unparalleled access to some of the industry's most unforgettable live performances." He added that the early ticket access and on-site perks like the Access Pass are designed to place cardholders "from the very center of the action." The collaboration between iHeartMedia and Capital One has been a fixture of the festival since its inception in 2013, when the first edition was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Since then, the event has evolved to include digital and broadcast components that reach millions globally, reflecting the shifting landscape of live music consumption.
