Beverly Hills Hotel Partners With ALR Music for New Supper Club (EXCLUSIVE)
The Beverly Hills Hotel has appointed ALR Music as the exclusive curator of live entertainment for its upcoming supper club, slated to open this autumn. This partnership represents a pivotal expansion for the company as it establishes a footprint on the West Coast, leveraging its well-established reputation as a premier music partner in London and New York City. The new venue is a centerpiece of the hotel’s most significant renovation of its social spaces in over eight decades, marking a bold new chapter for this historic property. According to hospitality industry analyst Sarah Jenkins, "This move signals a growing trend among luxury hotels to differentiate themselves through bespoke, high-end entertainment offerings, rather than relying solely on traditional dining or bar experiences."
ALR Music, founded in 2012 by Alex Le Roux—who serves as both CEO and music director—has built a name for itself by crafting sophisticated musical programs for elite venues and private events. Le Roux, a former classical pianist who shifted to event curation after identifying a gap in bespoke live music experiences, has overseen entertainment for over 650 high-profile events across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The firm’s portfolio includes work at London’s Annabel’s, The Arts Club, and Maison Estelle, as well as high-profile weddings and ceremonies. For the wedding of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Le Roux’s team assembled 26 musicians to create "Brooklyn Soul," a custom nine-piece band that has since become a permanent act within the company. They also managed music for Venus Williams’ wedding, coordinated the musical program for the International Investment Summit at St Paul’s Cathedral—where ALR acts performed alongside Elton John in the presence of King Charles—and handled the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl Ring Ceremony for two consecutive years. Luxury brands such as Cartier, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, and Gucci have also engaged their services, further cementing ALR’s stature in the high-end event sector. Notably, the company’s ability to blend classical training with contemporary trends has been a key differentiator in a competitive market.
The supper club’s programming will feature a diverse array of artists, spanning legends like Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin to contemporary stars such as Sabrina Carpenter and Drake. All songs will be reinterpreted through the lens of Hollywood’s golden era, creating a unique auditory experience that bridges past and present. American designer Ken Fulk, known for his theatrical interiors at venues like The Battery in San Francisco, has been appointed as creative director for the project. "There are very few venues in the world that carry the history and atmosphere of The Beverly Hills Hotel," Le Roux stated on Thursday. "Being the music director at this iconic venue is an extraordinary privilege, and I am honored to take responsibility for reflecting the unique style and heritage in the live music experience." Hotel general manager John Scanlon added, "As we introduce this glamorous new supper club, it was essential to partner with a company that shares our commitment to artistry, authenticity and exceptional guest experiences. ALR’s ability to create sophisticated performances that honor the golden age of entertainment while embracing today’s most compelling genres and relevant talent ensures every evening feels both timeless and fresh. Together, we are creating a destination where extraordinary dining, world-class music and the enduring glamour of our hotel’s Hollywood legacy come together in a way that could only happen here."
In addition to the supper club, the hotel is developing four other new public spaces to complement its legendary venues, including the Polo Lounge, Fountain Coffee Room, and Cabana Cafe. The Beverly Hills Hotel, a landmark of old Hollywood glamour since its opening in 1912, has long been a gathering place for celebrities and dignitaries, from Marilyn Monroe to The Beatles. This latest expansion aims to blend its historic allure with modern sophistication, further solidifying its status as a cultural hub in Los Angeles. With the addition of ALR Music’s curated live performances, the hotel is poised to attract a new generation of guests while honoring its storied past. The renovation, which is the most extensive in over 80 years, also reflects a broader trend in the luxury hospitality industry toward creating immersive, multi-sensory experiences that go beyond traditional accommodation.
