Show moreKaskade, Electronic Music Icon, Signs With Pacific Music Group in Asia Partnership (EXCLUSIVE)
Kaskade has entered a strategic alliance with Pacific Music Group (PMG), a move designed to significantly broaden the electronic music icon's footprint throughout Asia. The Hong Kong-headquartered entertainment firm confirmed the agreement, which positions PMG as the artist's key partner for the region, handling everything from brand collaborations to media strategy and long-term market cultivation.
The artist, born Ryan Raddon, brings a formidable legacy to the table. With eight Grammy nominations spanning a career of over two decades, he made history as the first DJ to headline Coachella and delivered the Super Bowl's inaugural in-game DJ performance. His record-breaking show at the LA Memorial Coliseum was later recognized by Pollstar as the largest single-day electronic music event in North America. Notably, his collaborative project Kx5 with producer deadmau5 also earned Grammy recognition. His recent creative output includes the 2025 album "undux," a deeply introspective work, and a new live experience called "Origin //," which debuted with two headlining sets at Coachella in 2026, featuring a reimagined stage production and unreleased material.
PMG, launched in 2025 by a diverse group including singer Ne-Yo, Bollywood star Sonu Nigam, rapper MC Jin, and veteran executive Jonathan Serbin, will now serve as Kaskade's strategic partner across Asian territories. The deal strengthens PMG's electronic music division, particularly through Ghostone Records, its imprint focused on nurturing talent and bridging Asia's vibrant electronic scene with global audiences. This signing follows PMG's recent addition of Tiffany Young, the former Girls' Generation member, to its roster in 2026, underscoring the company's rapid expansion since its inception.
Serbin, PMG's co-founder and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: "Kaskade is one of the most influential artists in electronic music history. For more than two decades, he has consistently set the standard for artistic excellence and innovation, helping elevate dance music into a global cultural force. His vision aligns perfectly with our mission of partnering with world-class artists who continue to shape the future of music." Kaskade, who spent several years living in Asia earlier in his life, echoed this sentiment, noting his long-standing connection to the region. "When I get to use music to connect with the crowds across Asia, it's such an amazing experience, and I always walk away with the deepest respect for the energy these crowds bring," he remarked, adding that the partnership allows him to "build something even stronger" with fans who have supported his journey for years.
Under the terms of the agreement, PMG will support Kaskade's expansion into key markets including Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Greater China, with tailored brand partnerships and growth initiatives designed for each locale. This strategic move reflects a broader trend of Western electronic artists seeking deeper engagement with Asian audiences, a region that has seen explosive growth in dance music festivals and club culture over the past decade. Industry analysts note that such partnerships are becoming increasingly vital as artists look to diversify their revenue streams beyond traditional touring and streaming, particularly in markets where live events are experiencing unprecedented demand.
