Oasis has expanded its Live '27 reunion tour by four additional concerts, citing unprecedented demand from fans. The newly added shows include a July 6 performance at Munich's Allianz Arena—the 75,000-capacity home ground of FC Bayern Munich—along with a July 26 date at Rome's Stadio Olimpico, the historic 1960 Olympics venue that has welcomed acts from the Rolling Stones to U2. Two final nights at Knebworth in the U.K. are set for Sept. 25 and 26. These additions bring the total to 42 dates, marking the band's first tour since their 1990s prime, when they reigned as one of Britpop's defining acts.
Separately, Oasis's two Paris concerts have been rescheduled because of planned railway maintenance on July 24. The shows will now take place at Stade de France on July 20 and 23 instead of their original dates. Announced earlier this month alongside the Disney+ documentary Don't Look Back in Anger, the Live '27 itinerary spans Glasgow, Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, Slane Castle in Ireland, and Knebworth in England. The Knebworth stop carries particular weight: Oasis's two legendary 1996 performances there are frequently described as Britpop's defining weekend. As music journalist Sarah Kendrick observed, "Knebworth 1996 wasn't just a gig—it was the moment Britpop planted its flag in the national consciousness."
According to a press release, the Live '27 tour is now finalized, with no further dates to be added. Ticket registration has ended, and approved fans will receive a unique code granting them a designated time slot to purchase tickets beginning Friday. No general onsale will be held for any date on the tour. This ballot-based system, a departure from the traditional first-come-first-served rush, reflects the extraordinary level of anticipation surrounding the reunion.
It's worth noting that Knebworth House in Hertfordshire has long hosted some of British music's biggest open-air events, including Oasis's own 1996 concerts, which drew roughly 250,000 attendees over two nights. The band's return to the estate next September will be their first performances there since that record-breaking weekend. Those 1996 shows were documented on the live album and film Knebworth 1996, released in 2021, which topped the U.K. charts—a testament to the enduring significance of that moment.
