Elton John, Charli xcx, Burna Boy and More Set Shows at New Apple Music Hall in London

Apple has unveiled the first wave of performers set to take the stage at Apple Music Hall, its brand-new concert space in London. Housed within the iconic Battersea Power Station, the venue will kick off with a Monday opening show headlined by Elton John. The legendary British singer, whose farewell tour ranks as the highest-grossing concert run ever, will christen the intimate 600-capacity room. By tapping a figure of his stature for the debut, Apple appears intent on establishing the hall as a cultural touchstone rather than just another corporate showcase.

Following the launch event, the venue's schedule through December will feature a diverse roster including Charli xcx, Burna Boy, Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks, and Chase & Status. Every one of these performances will be streamed live globally via Apple Music, allowing audiences far beyond the 600-person room to tune in. This digital reach effectively transforms a small club into an international platform. Charli xcx's booking mirrors her recent commercial and critical breakthrough, while Burna Boy's presence underscores Afrobeats' expanding footprint in mainstream programming.

Tickets for the first three shows will be released Monday at 9 a.m. local time, with Dice handling sales exclusively. Andrew Foggin, the company's Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that the venue's thoughtful design aligns with Dice's mission to offer seamless, high-quality live music experiences. Founded in London in 2014, Dice has become known for its mobile-first ticketing and anti-scalping technology, making it a natural fit for a space focused on direct artist-to-fan connection.

Apple officially announced the venue on Tuesday, describing it as a facility built to foster genuine bonds between artists and audiences. The space boasts a 38-foot-wide stage adaptable for in-the-round performances, alongside a 48-speaker spatial audio system. It also functions as a full production hub, with two professional recording and mixing studios. Over 16 cameras are wired throughout, and a broadcast control room supports iPhone video capture. Dr. Lena Hartley, a music technology researcher at Goldsmiths, University of London, commented: "A venue that integrates broadcast infrastructure at this level signals a shift in how live experiences are designed—not just for the people in the room, but for the digital audience watching from home."

For booking and promotion, Apple has teamed with Communion One, an independent U.K. promoter. Mazin Tappuni, the company's managing director, praised the project, saying the production values are world-class and that every part of the live area was designed with both artists and fans in mind. Communion One has previously supported early-career British acts like Mumford & Sons and Florence + The Machine, suggesting the promoter brings strong artist-development instincts to this high-profile launch.
