Ed Sheeran Sets North American Tour for 2026, Hitting Stadiums in 22 Cities

Ed Sheeran has announced a major North American stadium tour for summer and fall 2026, inspired by his latest album "Play." The "Loop Tour" will bring the celebrated British artist—whose career touring revenue has surpassed $1 billion—to 22 cities. The opening show is scheduled for June 13, 2026, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, a venue that has previously hosted kickoff concerts for artists like Taylor Swift, with whom Sheeran has frequently collaborated.

Among the highlighted stops are marquee venues such as SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Rogers Centre in Toronto, and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with the tour wrapping on November 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Only four cities will enjoy two consecutive performances: Toronto, East Rutherford, Foxborough, and Hollywood, Florida. The itinerary also includes Nashville, Milwaukee, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, San Diego, Santa Clara, Seattle, Minneapolis, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Charlotte, and Arlington.

This announcement comes on the heels of Sheeran’s previously confirmed dates in New Zealand and Australia beginning in January 2026, reinforcing his reputation as one of the most prolific touring artists of the modern era. A key element of his live appeal is his signature one-man-loop-pedal setup, which allows him to build intricate arrangements in real time. Touring analyst Clara Mendez observes, “Sheeran’s ability to transform vast spaces into intimate experiences sets him apart. His stripped-down yet dynamic performances create a rare sense of connection in an arena setting.”

Fans can now register for early ticket access through EdSheeran.com using the Seated platform. Verified registrants will receive a unique code for the artist presale, which opens next Tuesday at 9 a.m. local time. An American Express cardmember presale will launch at the same time. Given Sheeran’s track record of swift sell-outs—his 2023 “Mathematics Tour” set attendance records across several venues—prospective attendees are encouraged to register early to improve their chances of securing seats.
