CMA Fest Announces 100+ Performers for Daytime Stages, Including Stephen Wilson Jr., Tucker Wetmore, the War and Treaty, Melissa Etheridge

The roster for the 2024 CMA Fest has grown significantly with the unveiling of the extensive, free daytime stage lineup. From June 4th to 7th, downtown Nashville will come alive with performances across three primary venues: the Chevy Riverfront Stage, the Dr. Pepper Amp Stage at Ascend Park, and the Chevy Vibes Stage at Walk of Fame Park. This latest announcement introduces roughly 150 additional artists to the festival bill, building upon the previously scheduled nighttime stadium concerts.

A diverse mix of established and rising stars will take these stages. The lineup features artists like Stephen Wilson Jr., breakout artist Tucker Wetmore, and the powerful duo The War and Treaty. They are joined by a wide array of talent including Carter Faith, Dasha, Grammy-winning flatpicker Molly Tuttle, and singer-songwriter Charles Wesley Godwin. The largest daytime venue, the Chevy Riverfront Stage, will host sets from Lauren Alaina, Ian Munsick, and Priscilla Block. Meanwhile, the Dr. Pepper Amp Stage blends legacy acts like 90s country star Pam Tillis and pop-rock's Uncle Kracker with newer voices, and the Chevy Vibes Stage will showcase performances from Colt Ford, Sister Hazel, and Alana Springsteen.

Access to all daytime concerts remains free and open to the public. However, the festival offers paid passes that provide entry to exclusive VIP viewing areas and grant priority access to the highly popular Chevy Riverfront Stage, a useful perk for managing the substantial crowds. These daytime shows have become a cornerstone of the CMA Fest experience, acting as a key driver of fan engagement before the evening's stadium events. Industry analyst Sarah Jenkins observes, "The daytime stages are a crucial incubator for emerging talent and a fan-favorite tradition, often providing the most memorable and accessible artist interactions of the entire festival weekend." This model allows the festival to maintain its community-focused roots while accommodating its massive scale.

The newly announced artists will join the already-revealed headliners for the nightly Nissan Stadium shows, a list that includes superstar Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Hardy, and country icon Tim McGraw. Notably, several performers, including Stephen Wilson Jr. and Tucker Wetmore, are scheduled for both daytime and nighttime sets. Wilson Jr. is even slated for a special "mid-field performance" at the stadium. This year's event continues to highlight Nashville's central role in the genre. The festival, which began in 1972 as Fan Fair, transforms the city's downtown into a sprawling, four-day celebration of country music, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans and generating significant economic impact for Music City each June.
