Girls’ Generation Star Tiffany Young Signs With Pacific Music Group

Tiffany Young, a foundational figure in K-pop who rose to fame as a lead vocalist of the iconic group Girls' Generation, has entered a comprehensive 360-degree partnership with Pacific Music Group (PMG). The agreement encompasses both her recorded music and overall management. Her inaugural project under this new deal is slated for May 2026, strategically timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of her launch as a solo artist. All music will be released via Pacific Records, PMG's internal label, while the company's management arm assumes full oversight of her career.

This signing serves a dual purpose for PMG. It formally inaugurates the company's Korean artist roster and signifies a major commitment to the Seoul market, where PMG has already established a 12-person team dedicated to artist management, creative development, and cross-border strategy. The partnership is a logical fit given Young's enduring stature. She remains one of the most recognizable ambassadors of K-pop's global ascent, having helped define the genre with Girls' Generation—a group whose commercial and cultural impact is monumental. Their legacy includes 16 number-one singles, over 1.8 billion YouTube views, and more than 120 awards, fundamentally reshaping the industry's international ambitions.

Young's own journey saw her move from Los Angeles to Seoul at age 15 to train. She successfully transitioned the group's legacy into a solo career, with her debut landing at No. 5 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart and earning her the Best Solo Breakout award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. As one industry analyst noted, "Young represents a rare bridge between K-pop's second-generation foundations and its current globalized era, making her an ideal anchor for a company looking to build authentic connections." More recently, she demonstrated her artistic range by completing a 70-performance run in the Korean production of "Chicago," solidifying her reputation as a versatile entertainer.

"Tiffany is precisely the caliber of artist Pacific Music Group was founded to support," said Jonathan Serbin, co-founder and CEO of PMG. "She is a pioneer who shaped a generation yet continues to evolve across music, acting, and culture. Launching our Korean operations with her is profoundly meaningful, and her 10th-anniversary release in 2026 will powerfully signal her future direction." For her part, Young stated, "This next chapter is about intention and global connection. PMG understands my journey and shares my vision. With my solo anniversary approaching and so much history to celebrate with SONEs worldwide, now is the perfect moment to build anew."

Pacific Music Group, which launched from Hong Kong in 2025, was founded by an unconventional quartet: artists Ne-Yo, Sonu Nigam, and MC Jin, alongside executive Jonathan Serbin. The company's core mission is to cultivate careers that move fluidly between Asian and global markets. The signing of Tiffany Young, with her 16-million-strong Instagram following and deep industry roots, stands as the most significant test of this model to date. Following the milestone release in May, additional music from Young via Pacific Records is anticipated later in 2026.
