Attorney Bradford Cohen, a veteran defense lawyer known for representing high-profile clients, confirmed to Billboard that the "unprovoked attack" has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department. "We will be pursuing any and all criminal and civil avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible," Cohen stated. He further indicated they are "exploring holding the location responsible for their apparent lack of appropriate security," a legal strategy increasingly seen in cases where businesses fail to provide reasonable safety for patrons, especially celebrities.

Cohen also suggested the assailants' own actions would serve as evidence against them. "They then turned their cameras on after the initial attack as if to set our client up... The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots," he said.
