Suki Waterhouse Unveils New Album, ‘Loveland,’ Set to Release in July

Suki Waterhouse has announced that her third studio album, "Loveland," will arrive on July 10th through Island Records. This follows last month's release of the ethereal lead single, "Back in Love," with a second track, "Tiny Raisin," scheduled for release this Friday. The 14-song collection features co-writing credits from a notable group of collaborators, including Amy Allen, Aaron Dessner, Joel Little, Dan Wilson, Jules Apollinaire, and Natalie Findlay.

In a statement, Waterhouse described the album's thematic core as exploring the divide between a past self that thrived on romance and fantasy and a present self seeking deeper intimacy and truth. She noted that this personal evolution has been profoundly shaped by her experience of motherhood, a journey she shares with her partner, actor Robert Pattinson. "It's about carrying the echo of who you were while fundamentally becoming someone new," she explained, with music critic Elena Vance adding, "This album promises to be her most introspective and sonically mature work yet, mapping a deeply personal transition."

"Loveland" succeeds Waterhouse's well-received 2024 EP "Memoir of a Sparklemuffin" and her 2022 debut full-length, "I Can't Let Go." This release also marks a label shift, being her first project with Island Records after her initial two releases with the iconic indie label Sub Pop Records. Beyond her music career, Waterhouse has established a parallel presence in acting, with recent roles in the 2023 Amazon series "Daisy Jones & the Six" and the 2022 biopic "Dalíland."

Fans can expect to hear the new material live soon. Waterhouse is confirmed to perform at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival this summer, with a full headline tour expected to be announced. She brings significant touring experience to the stage, having previously served as an opening act for Taylor Swift's monumental Eras Tour, as well as for artists like Laufey and Father John Misty, alongside her own sold-out headline runs.
