Toddler Techno Creator Lenny Pearce Signs Disney Music and Content Development Deal

Disney Music Group has announced a new content and music partnership with Lenny Pearce, the creator behind the popular Toddler Techno and Baby Raves movement. The first project under this deal will be the album "Disney Jr. Music: Lenny Pearce Toddler Techno," set for release on May 15. The record will feature Pearce's signature high-energy, family-friendly electronic remixes of well-known songs from the Disney Jr. television lineup.

The initiative kicks off with a single: a Toddler Techno version of the "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme," arriving on April 24. Pearce, who founded the Toddler Techno concept in 2024 to make electronic dance music accessible for young children and their parents, will also produce original animated content based on these tracks. "The entire process, from audio production to music videos, was incredibly seamless with Disney," Pearce said. He added a personal motivation, noting, "My three-year-old daughter is a huge fan of shows like 'SuperKitties,' which made collaborating on this project a particularly special and proud dad moment."

Upon its release, the full album will include reimagined themes from a range of beloved Disney Jr. series. Listeners can anticipate new takes on music from "Sofia the First: Royal Magic," the classic "Hot Dog!" song from "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse," and the theme from "Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends." This fusion aims to connect Pearce's contemporary sound with Disney's storied musical history for a new generation. Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, commented, "Lenny has found a fresh way to reimagine songs kids already love. This partnership allows us to extend that connection, bringing characters like Mickey, Spidey, and the SuperKitties into new musical experiences for families on platforms like Disney+."

Pearce's ascent in family entertainment has been notable. Following a series of successful independent albums, he has launched sold-out concert tours that have drawn audiences across North America and the U.K., with more dates scheduled in these regions throughout the year. Industry analysts suggest deals like this one can legitimize and expand niche genres, much like how "Baby Einstein" videos carved out a new market for developmental media two decades ago. Ken Bunt, president of Disney Music Group, supported this view, stating, "After attending one of Lenny’s concerts, it's evident he's built a unique experience where families connect through modern music. We're thrilled to channel that same energy into Disney Jr.'s iconic songs."

The collaboration represents a strategic move for Disney to refresh its classic properties for today's preschoolers, who are increasingly exposed to electronic music sounds through digital media. For Pearce, it provides a massive platform to introduce his Toddler Techno philosophy to a global audience, potentially setting a new standard for how music labels approach early childhood entertainment.
