Show moreZedd in the Park Returns for 2026 Festival Featuring Zedd, Madeon, Porter Robinson, DJ Snake and More (EXCLUSIVE)
The renowned electronic music producer Zedd has officially announced the return of his curated festival, Zedd in the Park. This year's event marks a notable departure from tradition, as it will be staged for the first time on the East Coast, taking place at New York City's Randall's Island on August 14-15. The German-Russian artist, whose 2012 debut album 'Clarity' catapulted him to international stardom, has assembled a lineup featuring DJ Snake, Louis the Child, Porter Robinson, Madeon, and Ellis. A highlight of the weekend will see Zedd performing a back-to-back (B2B) set with Knock2 on the opening night, followed by a solo headlining show on Saturday. Randall's Island, a venue known for hosting major events like the Governors Ball music festival, provides a distinctive backdrop with its sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline.
In comments provided to Variety, Zedd shared his excitement about the festival's new location. "Zedd In The Park is returning, and I am thrilled to bring it to New York City for the very first time," he stated. "I've invited some of my favorite artists and closest friends to join me at Randall's Island. I truly believe this is our most exceptional lineup to date." The 2026 edition represents the fifth installment of the series, which was previously a Los Angeles exclusive. The most recent iteration was held at LA State Historic Park in September 2024, featuring acts like Madeon, San Holo, and Grey. Industry observers note that expanding to New York allows Zedd to build on his diverse fanbase, which spans pop, EDM, and dance genres, potentially attracting new listeners from the region's vibrant electronic music scene. As one music industry analyst remarked, "Moving this event to the East Coast is a strategic play to capture a market that has long supported major electronic acts but rarely sees curated festivals of this scale outside of Miami or Chicago."
Ticket information has also been released, with an artist presale scheduled to begin on April 30 at 10 a.m. ET. A general public sale will follow on May 1 at 10 a.m. ET, and fans can register for early access through the festival's official website. VIP packages are expected to be offered, providing premium viewing areas and additional exclusive amenities. This announcement arrives in the wake of Zedd's third studio album, 'Telos', which debuted in August 2024. The record continues his artistic evolution following the landmark success of his 2015 album 'True Colors' and the Grammy-winning collaboration 'The Middle' (with Maren Morris and Grey). The move to Randall's Island, which has hosted everything from dance marathons to political rallies, could also signal a broader ambition to establish Zedd in the Park as a bi-coastal staple, mirroring the expansion of other major festival brands in recent years. With New York's dense population of music enthusiasts and its role as a global cultural hub, the event is poised to become a key fixture on the summer festival calendar.
