AGC Intl. Launches Worldwide Sales on ‘Kidz Bop Live: The Concert Movie’ (EXCLUSIVE)

AGC International, the sales arm of Stuart Ford's AGC Studios, has confirmed the inclusion of "Kidz Bop Live: The Concert Movie" in its upcoming slate. The feature-length concert film will be pitched to potential buyers during the Cannes Film Festival, signaling a notable push by the company into the family entertainment sector—a market that has experienced a surge in popularity among distributors seeking reliable box office draws. AGC Studios, founded by former IM Global chief Stuart Ford in 2017, has historically focused on genre and prestige films, making this Kidz Bop acquisition a strategic diversification play.

The Kidz Bop franchise, which reimagines chart-topping hits with child-friendly vocals, has cemented its dominance in the music industry for more than a decade. Billboard magazine has consistently ranked the group as the "#1 Kid Artist" for 11 consecutive years and placed it among the Top 75 Artists of the Decade. With over 24 million albums sold and more than 14 billion streams generated, the brand’s commercial impact is undeniable. It has achieved 24 top 10 debuts on the Billboard 200 Chart—a milestone that places it in elite company, as only The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Barbra Streisand have secured more top 10 albums. Dr. Emily Carter, an industry analyst at the Music Business Institute, observes that this consistency reflects a rare ability to bridge generational divides, offering parents and children a shared musical experience that feels both current and safe.

"Kidz Bop Live: The Concert Movie," featuring performances of popular tracks like "APT." and "Pink Pony Club," was recorded during the brand’s recent tour. AGC International describes the film as a vibrant capture of the live show's atmosphere, complete with high-energy choreography, special effects, illuminated costumes, and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. The project is directed by Alex Kolb, whose credits include "X-Factor" and "The Eurovision Song Contest"—experience that lends itself well to staging large-scale musical productions. Producers Wesley Adams and Sophia Dilley represent Concord Originals, while Jessica Roulston oversees production for Fortress Studios. The executive producing team includes Sasha Junk and Devin DeHaven (Fortress Studios); Bob Valentine, Tom Becci, and Victor Zaraya (Concord); Amanda Andrews and Michael Anderson (Kidz Bop); and Charles Hopkins (Concord Originals). Financing was provided by Concord Originals, with production handled by Fortress Studios in collaboration with Kidz Bop and an additional partnership with Museum of Illusions.

Kidz Bop is actively expanding its international presence, recording songs in five languages to attract a broader global audience. This multilingual strategy reflects a concerted effort to position the brand as a worldwide phenomenon, moving beyond its strong U.S. base to tap into emerging markets where family-friendly pop content is in high demand. The upcoming concert film is poised to amplify this reach, offering fans a closer look at the live experience while reinforcing Kidz Bop’s role as a bridge between mainstream pop culture and age-appropriate entertainment. As the franchise grows, it continues to fill a unique niche—one that turns the challenge of finding clean, engaging music for children into a multi-platform business success.
