The Academy of Country Music Awards, held Sunday night in Las Vegas, saw a dazzling display of fashion alongside its competitive honors. As country stars graced both the stage and the red carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, their sartorial choices proved just as memorable as the evening's big wins. Ella Langley emerged as the night's top winner, securing an impressive seven trophies across five categories, while Cody Johnson claimed two major awards, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year prize. Other notable winners included Riley Green and Parker McCollum, each taking home their own hardware.
The fashion statements, however, were equally indelible, particularly among those who delivered standout performances. Kacey Musgraves, known for her eclectic style, Miranda Lambert, a three-time Grammy winner, and Lainey Wilson, whose 2023 album 'Bell Bottom Country' was a critical hit, all made bold choices. Thomas Rhett, Jordan Davis, and the duo Dan + Shay also commanded attention, alongside Blake Shelton, the longtime 'The Voice' coach, and rising stars Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore, and Carter Faith. Host Shania Twain, whose 1997 album 'Come On Over' remains the best-selling country album of all time, served as the night's master of costume changes, seamlessly shifting between multiple striking looks throughout the broadcast.
"Fashion at these awards is often as competitive as the music itself," noted industry stylist Amanda Brooks in a recent interview. "Artists use their outfits to tell a story and connect with their audience on a visual level." The two-and-a-half-hour show, which aired live, is now available for on-demand viewing on Prime Video starting Monday. For those who missed the spectacle, the platform offers a chance to revisit the performances and the carefully curated looks that defined the evening, highlighting the evolving intersection of country music culture and high fashion in a city known for its extravagant productions.
