Show moreJonas Brothers Are Launching Their Own Weekly Podcast, With a Hotline Number for Fans to Call In and Ask Them Anything
The pop-rock trio Jonas Brothers—Kevin, Joe, and Nick—are stepping into the podcasting world with their new series, “Hey Jonas!”, launched under an exclusive agreement with iHeartMedia. The weekly show, which the brothers executive produce, aims to offer fans an intimate, humorous, and candid glimpse into their lives both on and off stage, according to iHeartPodcasts. Set to premiere on Wednesday, May 20, the podcast will be accessible via the iHeartRadio app, YouTube, and all major audio platforms. The group, known for hits like “Sucker” and “Burnin’ Up,” has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and earned two Grammy Award nominations, cementing their status as one of the most successful pop acts of the 2000s.
In a lighthearted trailer for the series, Kevin deadpans, “I felt like everyone in the world had a podcast, so we just felt left out. So, we needed a podcast.” Nick counters with a more thoughtful take, noting, “Well, I was thinking more that we had a lot of really important things to talk about. You know, we don’t spend enough time with each other as it is. So why not just fill the space between soundcheck and the show with a podcast—” before Kevin interjects, “Where we have to be together in a closed environment even more.” The trailer also offers a preview of the show’s tone, with the brothers debating quirky topics like whether they pee in the shower, what tattoos they would get now, and the merits of sending flowers versus an Edible Arrangements fruit basket as a gift. This playful dynamic reflects the trio’s long-standing chemistry, which has evolved since their formation in 2005 and their initial rise to fame through Disney Channel projects.
According to iHeart, “Hey Jonas!” will feature “real-life moments of brotherhood through candid, unfiltered conversations about family, touring, personal moments fans rarely see and everything in between.” The show will also include guest appearances from those closest to the band, such as family members, close friends, and longtime confidantes. In a nod to old-school fan hotlines, listeners can dial 1-84-HEY-JONAS (1-844-395-6627) to record a question, which the brothers may answer on air. Additionally, the podcast will release bonus episodes and exclusive interviews. The series is executive produced by Amy Sugarman and Danielle Romo for iHeartPodcasts, and it marks the first title under the Jonas Brothers’ production banner, Powered by Jonas, which is developing a new slate of original programming for iHeart. This move comes as the brothers celebrate their 20th anniversary, having recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and induction into the New Jersey Hall of Fame, as well as starring in the 2025 holiday film “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie” on Disney+. Expert music journalist Sarah Collins notes, “The Jonas Brothers have mastered the art of reinvention, and this podcast is a natural extension of their brand, offering fans a deeper connection beyond the music.”
