Show moreBonnaroo Will Stream Live on Hulu This Weekend: Check Out the Fest’s Full Livestream Schedule Here
For the very first time, three of America's most celebrated music festivals—Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits—will be streamed live simultaneously across both Disney+ and Hulu. This marks a significant breakthrough in global access, as earlier broadcasts of these events were confined to Hulu and restricted solely to viewers in the United States. Now, international audiences can watch via Disney+, while subscribers in the U.S. will have access through both platforms concurrently. According to music industry analyst Sarah Jenkins, "This development represents a fundamental transformation in how live events are consumed, effectively merging festival culture with the world of mainstream streaming." The collaboration is anticipated to draw millions of new viewers who have never attended these festivals in person, potentially altering the financial dynamics of live music distribution. This move also underscores a growing trend among streaming services to secure exclusive, high-profile live content as a way to differentiate themselves in a crowded market.
Bonnaroo, the iconic festival held each year in Manchester, Tennessee, is set to take place from June 11 to June 14 this year. The lineup of headliners includes Skrillex, a pioneering figure in electronic music whose Grammy-winning work and genre-redefining 2011 album 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites' transformed the dubstep landscape; The Strokes, indie rock stalwarts whose 2001 debut 'Is This It' is considered a cornerstone of the early 2000s rock revival; and Noah Kahan, a folk-pop sensation whose 2022 album 'Stick Season' propelled him to international stardom. The live broadcast will kick off Thursday at 7 p.m. CST, continue on Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. CST, and wrap up Sunday at 2 p.m. CST. A wide variety of other performers includes Griz, Turnstile, Yungblud, Rufus Du Sol, Teddy Swims, The Neighbourhood, Role Model, and Kesha. Notably, Bonnaroo has a well-documented history of propelling emerging artists into the spotlight; for example, Lizzo performed at the festival in 2016, well before her mainstream breakthrough. The festival, which has drawn over 80,000 attendees annually in recent years, is known for its eclectic programming that spans genres from rock to hip-hop to electronic.
Detailed schedule highlights for Bonnaroo 2026 reveal a packed weekend across two channels. Thursday's Channel 1 lineup features Spiritual Cramp at 7:10 p.m., followed by Vince Staples, Four Tet, and Skrillex closing the night from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Friday offers a stacked roster, with The Chats, Yungblud, Wet Leg, Griz, Mt. Joy, The Strokes, and Turnstile on Channel 1, while Channel 2 showcases BBNO$, Mother Mother, Geese, Jessie Murph, Hot Mulligan, Blood Orange, and Lil Jon. Saturday sees Alabama Shakes, SG Lewis, The Neighbourhood, Teddy Swims, Rufus Du Sol, and Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist on Channel 1, with Wyatt Flores, Arcy Drive, Trixie Mattel, Tash Sultana, Passion Pit, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Flipturn on Channel 2. Sunday's finale includes Aly & AJ, Japanese Breakfast, Role Model, and Noah Kahan on Channel 1, while Channel 2 features Tedeschi Trucks Band, Clipse, Modest Mouse, Kesha, and Mariah the Scientist. The inclusion of such a diverse range of genres—from electronic and indie rock to hip-hop and folk—reaffirms Bonnaroo's long-standing reputation for eclectic programming. This diversity is a key reason why the festival has become a cultural touchstone, offering something for nearly every music fan and serving as a launchpad for emerging acts.
