Role Model and Hydro Flask Launch Limited-Edition Drinkware Collection Inspired by ‘Chuck Timely & The Hourglass’

Singer-songwriter Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pilsbury, has teamed up with Hydro Flask for a limited-edition drinkware collection inspired by his third studio album, "Chuck Timely & The Hourglass." A promotional video featuring Role Model and his longtime friend and collaborator Ky Newman was released to celebrate the launch, offering fans a first glimpse of the lineup. The timing is deliberate: the drop coincides with the opening night of Role Model Presents: Chuck On Tour.

In discussing the partnership, Role Model emphasized the sustainability element, pointing out that providing reusable bottles to his entire band and crew meaningfully cuts down on waste during a tour. He also mentioned that he and Newman were handed creative control over the campaign, which gave the project the same easy chemistry as their usual collaborations. The collection comprises eight Hydro Flask bottles, each selected and designed in tandem with the artist, including twists on popular models such as the 32 oz Wide Flex Straw Cap and the 400 mL Micro Hydro. Hydro Flask, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Bend, Oregon, has built its reputation on insulated stainless steel bottles and has increasingly positioned itself as a lifestyle brand rather than a simple outdoor accessory.

This marks the second artist-led release under the Hydro Flask x Universal Music Group partnership, an initiative aimed at expanding reusable drinkware throughout the music industry. UMG, one of the largest music corporations globally, represents a vast, genre-spanning roster of artists, making it a strategic ally in Hydro Flask's push for sustainability within entertainment. Larry Witt, president of Hydro Flask, described the brand as having been founded on joy, and said Role Model brings a comparable spirit to music, making the collaboration feel organic. He added that since the UMG partnership launched, both fans and artists have shown strong enthusiasm, and that the new campaign illustrates how reusables can slot into everyday life while making a positive environmental impact feel effortless and fun.

The collection is now available for purchase on the Hydro Flask website. As the music industry faces mounting scrutiny over its environmental footprint—particularly the waste produced by touring and merchandise—deals of this kind signal a wider move toward sustainable practices. One branding expert noted that seeing beloved artists embrace reusables helps normalize the behavior among fans, extending the impact far beyond the concert stage. For Role Model, whose 2022 debut album "Rx" earned him a dedicated following and whose sophomore record "Kansas Anymore" arrived in 2024, the collaboration also reinforces his growing presence as a cultural voice, not just a musician.
