Nile Rodgers to Host iHeartMedia’s ‘Before the Moment’ Podcast With Sienna Spiro, John Legend and More

Lincoln has partnered with iHeartMedia's Ruby studio to launch a new podcast, "Before the Moment with Nile Rodgers," which debuted on September 15. The series features the legendary producer and Chic co-founder in deep conversations with a diverse lineup of artists about the pivotal moments that reshaped their lives and careers. The first six episodes include appearances by British rising star Sienna Spiro, EGOT recipient John Legend, chart-topping "Ordinary" artist Alex Warren, Grammy-winning singer Miguel, and the Goo Goo Dolls. More guests will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Each episode centers on a single transformative juncture in an artist's journey, with Rodgers guiding them through the circumstances, decisions, and key figures that surrounded the moment just before everything shifted. Rodgers, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee who also serves as Chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, brings decades of firsthand experience to these discussions. He co-founded Chic and has contributed to landmark recordings for Diana Ross, Madonna, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Daft Punk, Coldplay, and Beyoncé. In a statement, Rodgers remarked, "There are thousands of great artists trying to find their way into the music business. This show proves that there are millions of ways to do it."
