Morgan Wallen logs his 23rd No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, as “Been by Now” rises a spot on the list dated Nov. 7 with 33.5 million audience impressions (up 4%) Oct. 23-29, according to Luminate.
The stand-alone single marks Wallen’s fourth leader of 2026, following “20 Cigarettes” and “Don’t We,” both from his 2025 album, I’m the Problem, and the Ella Langley duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore.” After four No. 1s in 2025 and five in 2024, he becomes the first act to collect at least four in three distinct, and consecutive, years. Langley, also this year, Luke Combs (2021) and Garth Brooks (1991 and 1993) are the only other acts with four in a year.
No artist has reached 23 Country Airplay No. 1s faster than Wallen. He needed just more than eight years from his first, the Florida Georgia Line collaboration “Up Down,” in June 2018, besting Luke Bryan, who took nearly 10 years. Only seven acts have notched more No. 1s since the chart launched in 1990: Kenny Chesney (34), Blake Shelton (30), Tim McGraw (29) and Jason Aldean (27), Bryan, Alan Jackson and George Strait (26 each).
Plus, “Been by Now” is Wallen’s 21st song to rise to No. 1 on Country Airplay this decade, seven more in that span than runner-up Combs.
Riley Green adds his ninth Country Airplay top 10 with “Think as You Drunk,” up 11-9 with 17.7 million in audience (up 5%). The tongue-in-cheek track pays tribute to Toby Keith, sporting a sample of the late star’s 2005 hit “As Good as I Once Was” in its outro. It follows “Change My Mind,” a No. 2 for Green in June.
Brothers Osborne return to Country Airplay for the first time in more than two years as “Born and Raised Hell,” featuring Cody Johnson, enters at No. 40 (2.4 million). The song opens the duo’s fifth studio album, Watertown, released Oct. 23.
All charts dated Nov. 7 will update Tuesday, Nov. 3, on Billboard.com.
